Fib Scanner

FIBONACCI SETUP SCANNER · CHROME EXTENSION & WINDOWS APP

You can't watch 293 charts.
It watches them for you.

FibScanner scans 293 markets across 8 timeframes for Fib-retracement and range-breakout setups — scored, with entry, stop and targets worked out — and only surfaces the ones that clear its quality gates. You review setups; it does the watching.

Anatomy of a fib setup: an impulse leg, a pullback into the 38.2/50/61.8 golden zone, a confirmation candle at the level, with entry, stop and two targets marked

SOUND FAMILIAR?

Three ways good setups slip away

The market never waits for you to be watching the right chart. Every trader knows these three by heart.

The setup you missed

Price tapped the golden zone on a chart you weren’t looking at. By the time you saw it, the clean part of the move was already gone.

Alerts that cry wolf

A hundred pings a day, most of them noise. You learn to mute them — and then you miss the one that actually mattered.

The blind fib buy

You drew the retracement, bought 61.8%, and hoped. No confirmation candle, no target, no stop — just a level and a prayer.

HOW IT WORKS

Coverage you can't get manually

Checking one chart for a clean retracement takes a couple of minutes. Across 293 markets and 8 timeframes, that's a full-time job. FibScanner runs that loop continuously.

01
Add it to Chrome
One click from the Chrome Web Store. No account, no card — the free tier starts scanning immediately.
02
It scans continuously
293 markets × 8 timeframes, checked around the clock for retracements developing into valid setups.
03
You review what clears
Only setups passing all 5 quality gates reach your feed — a short list instead of a wall of noise.
5 QUALITY GATES

A setup has to earn its way to your screen

Miss one gate and it never becomes an alert. That’s how the noise gets cut.

01

A real move

A genuine swing to measure — not chop.

02

The golden zone

Price pulls into 38.2 / 50 / 61.8.

03

A decisive candle

A clear reversal candle prints first.

04

The break as a stop-order

You enter only on the confirmed break.

05

A plan with R:R

Entry, stop, targets and reward-to-risk.

WHAT LANDS IN YOUR PANEL
FibScanner live panel: a scored BUY ETH 4h setup and a SELL DOGE setup, each with entry, stop, two targets, R:R and position size

Scored, gated and fully worked out — entry, stop, two targets, R:R and position size, drawn before you lift a finger. Charts are illustrative.

THE SETUPS IT HUNTS

Two strategies, graded the same disciplined way

No black box. Here is exactly what has to happen before a setup reaches your feed — on closed candles only.

STRATEGY 01
Fib 50% Retracement
  • A clean impulse leg establishes the trend
  • Price pulls back into the golden zone — 38.2, 50 or 61.8% of that leg
  • A decisive reversal candle wicks the level — engulfing, hammer or shooting star
  • An ADX trend-strength filter screens out the chop
  • Entry is a stop order past that candle; it clears the risk:reward floor, then scores 0–100
STRATEGY 02
Range Breakout
  • Price coils into a tight consolidation
  • The level is tested twice or more and holds
  • A decisive, full-bodied candle breaks the range
  • Measured-move targets project from the range height
  • Runs on 1h and higher, where testing showed the edge lives
ON EVERY ALERT

Every alert, fully worked out

The full trade plan
Entry, stop, targets and R:R drawn on a candlestick chart with the fib ladder marked — one click copies the whole plan to your clipboard.
Position size, done for you
Set your account size and risk % once. Every alert card then shows the exact position size for its stop distance — no napkin math before you click.
Candlestick pattern alertsELITE
A heads-up notifier for the candles that matter — big engulfings, hammers, shooting stars and violent dojis — each labelled with-trend, against-trend or indecision.
Crypto derivatives context
Crypto alerts carry the live funding rate and long/short ratio, with a “crowded side” warning when positioning is lopsided. Informational, never a filter.

BUILT IN

More than a scanner

Windows desktop app
The same engine and licence key, running without a browser open. 4 MB, per-user install.
Download for Windows →
Fib Level Watch PRO
Pin your own swing high/low and get told when price rejects off its fib levels — the “watch MY fib” job automatic detection can’t do.
Context on every alert
Real charts with a live price axis, plus a −100…+100 sentiment gauge of the last ~12 candles telling you if the tape is with or against the setup. Informational, never a filter.
No optional permissions
The extension requests no optional permissions at all — just the named market-data domains it must read prices from. Nothing leaves your machine.

STRAIGHT TALK

What FibScanner is — and isn’t

We would rather set expectations than oversell. The limits are part of the product.

It is an educational tool, not financial advice. No signal is a recommendation — you decide every trade.
Gold, USD/JPY and US equities are tokenized / synthetic proxies that track — but are not — the underlying spot markets. Every proxy is clearly labelled in-app.
Index & commodity data comes from a free public feed delayed ~10–30 minutes, which is why those markets are higher-timeframe only (1h/4h+), where the delay does not matter.
Session markets (indices, commodities, FX, equity proxies) do not trade weekends; weekend signals are suppressed.
Alerts fire while Chrome is running.
Trading involves substantial risk of loss. We never claim win rates or profits — we sell time saved and setups not missed.

FAQ

Questions traders ask

Does it place trades?
No. FibScanner finds and alerts setups; you decide what to do with them. It never touches an exchange account.
Do I need an account?
No account with us at all — Pro users just paste a licence key.
Where does the data come from?
Free public market-data APIs — the Binance data mirror, Kraken, Hyperliquid and Yahoo — fetched directly by your browser. No paid feeds, no broker login.
Does it repaint?
No. Signals are computed on closed candles only, and a setup alerts exactly once per bar.
Will it slow my browser down?
No — it sleeps between bar closes and only fetches the markets whose candle just closed.
Why can’t I scan the S&P on 5m?
The free index feed is delayed, so fast timeframes would give stale signals — those markets are locked to 1h+ where the delay does not matter.

Common questions

What the scanner is, and what it isn't

Short answers to what people ask before they install it.

What is a Fibonacci setup scanner?

It watches price for you and speaks up when a pullback lands in the Fibonacci retracement zone and a confirmation candle closes there. Instead of flipping through charts looking for the shape by eye, you get the handful that already cleared the rules — with the entry, stop and targets drawn.

Which markets does it cover?

293 markets across 8 timeframes — crypto, forex, US stocks, indices and commodities. As a chart scanner for multiple markets it runs the same rules across all of them at once, which is the part no one can do by hand. Index and commodity feeds are delayed, so those are limited to 1h and above.

Is it a Chrome extension or a website?

A Chrome extension. It installs in a click, draws live trading charts in a panel beside whatever you're doing, and keeps everything on your own machine — no account, no server in the middle, about 500 KB. Chrome needs to be open for it to scan.

What does non-repainting mean?

A non-repainting Fibonacci scanner only fires on a closed candle, and what it flagged stays flagged. Tools that redraw their history look far cleverer in hindsight than they were live. Every alert here is stamped to the bar that produced it, so you can check it later and see exactly what it saw.

Does it find breakouts too, or only retracements?

Both. The fib retracement side waits for a pullback into the zone; the breakout side waits for a range to break with the trend behind it. Two different strategies, the same five quality gates, one panel.

Is there a free version?

Yes — a free tier with no card: one market, one timeframe, the Fibonacci strategy. Enough to watch it work on a chart you already know before deciding whether it earns a place in your routine. Free chart tools and the method itself are on the tools and guide pages.

A scanner finds and grades chart patterns by fixed rules. It is an educational tool — not financial advice — and trading involves substantial risk of loss.
